Peace of Mind

How Our Guarantee Works

Total peace of mind, backed by a simple, zero-risk promise.

1. Free Revisions

If an institution questions your translation, send us the rejection notice. Our senior review team will analyze the objection and revise the translation or formatting at no cost to you, ensuring it meets their exact demands.

2. 100% Refund

If our revised translation is still rejected by the institution for a translation-related reason, we will issue a complete, 100% refund of your translation costs. No hassle or fine print.

The "Zero-Risk" Guarantee

You shouldn't have to risk your money to find out if our translations will be accepted. We stand entirely by the exceptional quality of our linguists and guarantee adherence to all strict formatting, certification, and signature requirements.

Conditions & Scope

We believe in total transparency. Our guarantee is ironclad for translations, but we want to be perfectly clear about what it covers.

Translation Issues Only

The guarantee covers the translation content and formatting. It does not apply if your application is rejected because you submitted the wrong actual document (e.g., submitting a short-form birth certificate instead of a long-form).

Rejection Proof Required

To claim a revision or refund, you must provide the official Request for Evidence (RFE) or rejection notice. This allows us to prove to you that we fixed the exact issue they cited.

Legible Source Files

If parts of your original document are physically illegible (blurred, cut off, or damaged), we indicate this on the translation. Rejections based specifically on illegible sources do not trigger a refund.

Consequential Damages

While we proudly refund 100% of your translation cost if rejected, we are not liable for external costs related to the rejection, such as USCIS application fees, mailing expenses, or legal fees.

Guarantee FAQs

Have questions about our refund policy? We're here to clarify.

What if USCIS rejects my translation?
In the extremely rare event that your certified translation is rejected by USCIS for a translation-related reason (e.g., suspected inaccuracy, missing certification details), we will first revise it free of charge to meet their exact specifications. If the revised translation is still rejected, we will issue a 100% refund of your translation cost.
How do I claim a revision or refund?
Simply send us the Request for Evidence (RFE) or rejection letter you received from the institution. This allows our review team to understand exactly what the institution is questioning so we can address it immediately. You can email this directly to our support team at support@certtranslate.com.
What is not covered by the guarantee?
Our guarantee covers translation-related rejections. It does not cover rejections based on the underlying document itself (e.g., if you submit a birth certificate but USCIS required a marriage certificate), illegible source files where we explicitly noted the illegibility, or issues entirely unrelated to the translation. It also does not cover consequential damages, such as lost application fees.
Does this apply to universities and WES/ECE?
Yes! Our certified translations are guaranteed to be accepted by all major credential evaluation services (including WES, ECE, NACES members) and all U.S. academic institutions.
How long are revisions free?
We offer free, unlimited revisions for life when it comes to correcting any objective errors in our translation. However, if you need to translate a new version of a document, or if you submitted the wrong file initially, a new order may be required.
