Frequently Asked Questions

Everything you need to know about our certified translation services, pricing, and immigration requirements.

General Questions

What languages do you translate?
We translate to and from 65+ languages, including Spanish, Chinese, Arabic, Portuguese, Russian, Hindi, Ukrainian, French, German, Japanese, Korean, Vietnamese, and dozens more. Every language pair is handled by a native speaker of the target language. If you don't see your language listed on our languages page, please contact us.
Can you translate documents that aren't in perfect condition?
Yes. We regularly translate documents that are faded, handwritten, partially damaged, or low-resolution scans. Our translators reproduce what is legible and note any illegible sections with [illegible] — which is the correct and accepted practice for USCIS and court submissions. If a document is too degraded to translate accurately, we will tell you before starting work.
Who will translate my documents?
Your documents are translated by a professional human translator who is a native speaker of the target language and fluent in the source language. Furthermore, they are vetted professionals with subject-matter expertise in legal and immigration documents.
How do I send you my documents?
You can securely upload clear photos or scans (PDF, JPG, PNG) of your documents directly through our order page. Make sure all edges are visible and the text is legible.

Pricing & Payments

How much does a certified translation cost?
Our certified translations are $29.95 per page, where one page is up to 250 words. This flat rate includes the translation, a signed Certificate of Accuracy, and delivery within 24 hours. Most single-page documents (birth certificates, marriage certificates, passports) cost exactly $29.95.
Are there any hidden fees?
No. The $29.95 per-page rate includes the translation, Certificate of Accuracy, quality review, and digital PDF delivery. The only additional costs are optional add-ons you choose, such as notarization ($19.95 per order), rush delivery, or mailing hard copies.
How do I pay?
We accept all major credit and debit cards securely through Stripe. Payment is required upfront to begin the translation work.
Why do you charge per page instead of per word?
Per-page pricing is predictable and transparent. With per-word pricing, you won't know the final cost until someone counts every word — and scanned documents can't be word-counted accurately by software. Our flat page rate means you know exactly what you'll pay.

Time & Delivery

How long does a certified translation take?
Most orders of 1–3 pages are completed and delivered via email within 24 hours. This standard turnaround time is included in the base price.
Do you offer expedited service?
Yes. We offer Rush Delivery (around 12 hours) and Super Rush Delivery (around 6 hours) for an additional fee per page. You can select these options during checkout.
How do I receive my translated documents?
You will receive a digital PDF copy of your certified translation via email as soon as it's completed. This PDF is fully valid for online submissions to USCIS and most other institutions.
Do you mail hard copies?
Yes. If you need physical copies, we can mail them to you via USPS for an additional fee. You can select standard or priority shipping during checkout. You will still receive the digital PDF immediately upon completion.

USCIS & Requirements

Will my translation be accepted by USCIS?
Yes. We guarantee USCIS acceptance. Our translations meet every USCIS requirement: word-for-word accuracy, complete reproduction of stamps/seals, a signed Certificate of Translation Accuracy on company letterhead, and the translator's credentials. If USCIS rejects your translation for any translation-related reason, we will revise it for free or refund you in full.
What is a certified translation?
A certified translation is a word-for-word translation of a document accompanied by a signed statement from the translation agency, attesting that the translation is accurate and complete to the best of their knowledge. This statement is known as a Certificate of Accuracy.
Do I need a notarized translation?
For USCIS submissions, you do not need a notarized translation. A standard certified translation is sufficient. However, notarization may be required for certain court proceedings, university admissions, or foreign embassies. Check with the receiving institution to be sure.
Does the translator need to be ATA certified?
For USCIS, the translator does not need to be certified by the American Translators Association (ATA). They only require a certified translation from a competent translator or agency, accompanied by a letter of certification. Our Certificate of Accuracy fully satisfies this requirement.
